Thank you email from Fay
August 19, 2003

Dear Medy,

Thank you! Yes, I have many memories to comfort me...My dad was 90--a long and full life...such a blessing!

Please thank our classmates for their support and prayers as well. I will write a note to all later. Right now, I'm just kinda overwhelmed here...

Again, deep thanks!
Big hugs-- Fay

You have a child named "Gingin"? You know that is my nickname too? But my sister shortened it to "Gingles"...Carol Coreces's daughter is also called "GinGin"...boy, I'm in such good company--those YOUNGER cuties...haahah...

Oh, Medy!!!

Your email made me smile...and just feel so loved. I can't thank you enough--pero maraming, maraming salamat for being there, and writing and just being so caring!

My sister called me around 1 AM, Manila time, to tell me, "Your friends were there!" After she made cuento and told she "I had a blast with them"--I told her, now they're HER friends too...so next time we're together in Manila, we all have to party together!

Please thank the others for me, Medy. I am emailing those who emailed me; but--as you said, some don't have email...so...

I have been thaking God for my father--his long, full life--and I also thank Him for my friends whose support and caring bring so much comfort and sunshine. Hugs, to you all...You are all so
wonderful!

Love,
Fay

Hi Fay,

Our brother-in-law couldn't get over the closeness of our class and how we are able to get together to support one another. Like today for instance, we were: Garnet, Ads, Jopie, Ellen and Ting(? your college classmate?), Missy, Myrna, Linda Tinio, Melin de Castro and I. Last night Ads was there also and she mentioned some one or two who also went earlier that day (but sorry, escapes me at the moment, but as soon as I remember I'll tell you).

I just wanted to tell you that we were there to say a prayer for your Dad and pay our respects. Your brother in law really has high regard for him! He said to Garnet, that your dad was one of the few men with integrity in WHO. He also admired his intelligence and marvelled at how, even to the end, he had control of his mind.

Your sister Jojo was fun! She entertained us with many stories. She is so vibrant and looks very happy. They are very sweet together. Your brother Ping looks just like you!

I'm glad I went.

So you do not have to worry, everything is being handled very well here. Use your energies for Jim. Please be strong, we are praying for you and for him.

Love,

Medy
