CLASS
OF 1968 -- page 3 Weve learned of each others difficulties and come to each others aid, providing moral (sometimes financial) support .. and prayers. We are there to share in each others successes, cheering each other on. We exchange wisdom on everything major or mundane .. from love, health, and career.. to favorite restaurants, recipes, and kitchen tools. Our daily lives are more tolerable, for we only have to remember that last silly joke you know, the one no one else would understand, unless she was an M&M? Ultimately, we have come to realize there truly are no friends like old friends. Another re-connection was made this past Christmas, when Marichi Atienza organized a group from the East Coast for a caroling pilgrimage to the Maryknoll motherhouse in Ossining, New York. We learned that financial assistance is needed to care for the sisters who are old and ailing. We rallied to that cause, and urge all who are willing and able to send their contributions to : The Maryknoll Sisters, Box 312, Maryknoll, NY10545-0312. We are a most jubilant group this year, with two celebrations in the works : September at the Punta Fuego home of Dido de Leon, hosted by our Manila M&Ms; and November in Las Vegas hosted by our U.S. M&Ms. In lieu of performing at the 2003 program at Miriam College, our class has elected to design, create and donate the Stations of the Cross, along the kalachuchi path leading to the Chapel. By this gift to the Lord we hoped to share the joy, wisdom and love of a true Maryknoller. May Gods blessings be yours from above...
