July 2, 2003: Bonnie showed conceptual designs made by Maricel to
Medy, Zelie, Cynthia, Dido, Garnet, Ads, Betty and Girl in separate meetings. Concensus
during both meetings for the stylized (linear-angular) design over the realistic one.The
evening meeting also discussed plans for Punta: committees were formed, activities for the
two days were discussed, the menu was completed.
Artists at work: Picture 1: (Standing) Ads, Girl. Bonnie; (Seated) Zelie, Cynthia, and
Dido
July 5, 2003. (Report by
Bonnie) "Zelie, Cynthia, Dido, Ads, Girl and
Garnet came. Plus Maricel of course, and me. We had fun. Zelie commented that it was very
therapeutic. Ads commented that Girl stopped talking because she was so engrossed in what
we were doing. Talaga, she was so quiet. Girl started on the prototype of the souvenirs so
she saw her work improving as she progressed with each piece. We've started on 5 stations.
We've approved on the wood and they discussed with Joey - the carpentry work and the
work to be done on the installation to Maryknoll. Working on it gives so much
gratification and you have an idea of how beautiful the finished product will be."
July 8, 2003.
We organizedthe delegation to represent our class during the presentation of the video at
the Maryknoll auditorium on September 6, 2003 at 6:00 p.m. This delegation will be headed
by Peach Tinio who has graciously accepted the designation.
