Reunions

Highlights of the Meeting

July 2, 2003
Kingfisher Restaurant
Attendees: Betty, Girl, Mad, Garnet, Dido, Bonnie, Ads, and Maricel the artist

On the Stations of the Cross Project

  1. Maricel presented her two conceptual designs: the first a stylized one and the other a realistic one. The group decided on the stylized one.
  2. She will complete all 14 Stations using this design but only one sample will be shown to Maryknoll because we want the project to have an element of surprise.
  3. The budget of Php 80,000 was adopted.
  4. Work on the project shall start on Saturday, July 2, and shall continue every Saturday thereafter.. All are welcome! We will choose wood, assess color schemes, and start the work that can be done then.
  5. Installation of the finished Stations of the Cross shall be prior to target date of the blessing on Aug. 31, 2003.
  6. Maricel will video tape the processes and the actual blessing in a production that will be shown on September 6 at the MC Homecoming.
  7. Zelie will write the script for this presentation; perhaps mentioning that since we all worked on this labor of love project ourselves, we gave ourselves a treat at Punta Fuego to rest.
  8. A volunteer or volunteers will be needed to represent the entire class during the ceremonies on September 6 preferably those not attending the Punta Fuego affair.
  9. Ads will be coordinating with Maryknoll on our Stations of the Cross Project
