Gigi's Visit to San Francisco Nov. 15, 2008

Gigi visits Malu and Chit in San Francisco! Malu got sunstroked and Gigi lovingly nurtured her... like Malu's father used to do when she was a little girl. "So sorry again! i got sun-stroked and was unable to guide you thru the wondrous aisles of the San Francisco Ferry Plaza as i wanted - the indoor gourmet food venues and the saturday farmers' market .. did your nephews like the popcorn and grapes? ;-) .. over the next few days mark and i enjoyed the rotisserie chicken, pig knuckle, grilled squid on polenta, chicken and beef empanadas - all i had to do was make veggies, and rice of course ;-) .. i hope you enjoyed our lunch at The Slanted Door - as we told you, it's 'modern vietnamese' .. now that i understand just how you are asian-food-deprived (in DeKalb, IL), on your next trip here we will go where your taste buds will scream "oh please, God, give me this every single day of my life" ;-)
